Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, pixels, and scripts that help a site remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure usage, or support security features.

Some of these technologies are set by Picklebook (first-party). Others may be set by third parties when their services are loaded as part of the Service.

We use technologies that are necessary or helpful to operate the Service:

• Authentication storage. When a court owner signs in to the Picklebook application, we store a session token in browser local storage (not as a traditional HTTP cookie) so the dashboard can stay signed in and call our API securely. Signing out removes this token. Session tokens expire after a limited period.
• Interface preferences. We may use cookies or similar storage to remember basic interface settings, such as layout preferences, where those features are enabled.
• Security checks. On sign-in and sign-up, we may use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. That service may set cookies or similar identifiers as part of the challenge process.
• Notifications. If a court owner enables browser push notifications for new bookings, the browser stores a push subscription managed by the browser and our service worker. This is not a classic advertising cookie.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the marketing website and the Picklebook application, including page views and general usage patterns. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and related identifiers, typically for up to two years, depending on Google's configuration and your browser settings.

We use this information to improve the Service. We do not use Google Analytics as an advertising network pixel for third-party ad targeting based on our current implementation.

Depending on how you use the Service, third parties may process data or set cookies on their own domains:

• Google sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's authentication services may use cookies on Google domains according to Google's policies.
• Cloudflare Turnstile. Used to protect account registration and sign-in against bots.
• Payment providers. If you subscribe to Picklebook Pro, checkout may redirect you to our payment partner (such as Maya). Cookies or similar technologies on that partner's pages are governed by the partner's own policies. Court booking payments between customers and court operators are handled off-platform and are not processed by Picklebook.
• Map and external links. Public booking pages may link to map providers or other external sites. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy practices.

Based on our current implementation, Picklebook does not use third-party advertising cookies, social media advertising pixels, or marketing trackers such as Facebook Pixel for the Service.

You can control cookies and similar technologies in several ways:

• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, or to clear site data and local storage
• Sign out of the Picklebook application to remove your local session token
• Disable or revoke browser notification permission if you previously enabled push alerts
• Use Google's or your browser's analytics opt-out tools where available

Blocking essential technologies may prevent sign-in, security checks, or other core features from working correctly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
